After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of art and design, I worked with vintage and antique handmade lace for several years. It was an amazing experience which taught me to appreciate things with history, laborious hand work and it gave me opportunity to meet many likeminded people around the world.
At all times home has meant a lot to me and I have always been interested to know what it means for others. Through my travels I have met many people and realized that no matter where we live, what we do for life, we all need a place to retreat and the place which gives us courage to venture out. This place is our home.
I enjoy telling stories, sharing impressions and inspiration with others. I created “The home is…” in order to share amazing homes around the world which I have been fortunate to visit or which I will be happy to visit one day.
My project is not meant to be an interior design guide. It is my impressions and owners’ thoughts about their homes described via photography, family recipes, sounds and associations.
